This tin locomotive will take you back to the 1800s and the infancy of the railroad empire. Our green, red, and black locomotive is a reproduction of the original 1920s toy by Paya of Spain. It represents an electric switching locomotive that got its power from current collected from overhead lines with a pantograph. That’s the metal V shaped apparatus on the top of the locomotive. It pressed against the overhead wire to get power. This engine is reminiscent of European switching engines of the day.
Our Green Locomotive measures 7” Long x 5” High x 2.5” Wide and comes with a key for winding and in a kraft box with a color graphic label.
This toy is for collectors, not for children.
